Volunteer

The Florence Griswold Museum invites you to join our group of dedicated volunteers.

Please consider joining this important group of members who help to make a lasting impression on behalf of the Museum. Some volunteer jobs have a public role while others are more behind-the-scenes. Most departments need volunteers. What is it that you like to do?

DOCENTS

Docents greet visitors in the Museum’s historic boardinghouse and answer any questions they may have relating to the Lyme Art Colony, Miss Florence Griswold, and the history of Old Lyme.

EDUCATORS

Educators lead school-aged children on fun and informative field trips of the Griswold House as well as interactive tours of the exhibitions.

GARDEN GANG

The Garden Gang helps to maintain the Museum’s historic gardens.
