When America’s finest artists discovered Miss Florence’s home at the turn of the 20th century, they were transfixed by the light. Here was a place where sunlight turned the river to diamonds and grassy banks to gold, where masterpieces begged to be created. This September, immerse yourself in the magical world of the Lyme Art Colony artists. Experience renowned artists creating their own masterpieces . . . enjoy artfully curated cuisine and cocktails . . . bid on art and once-in-a-lifetime experiences . . . and soak in the atmosphere that started a movement —all to support the Museum’s education and outreach programs.
Artistic, creative attire encouraged. Black tie optional.
Rather than a traditional sit-down dinner, we’re creating a whole new experience for you – filling every nook and cranny with abundant, artfully displayed hors d’oeuvres, food stations, and cocktails. This cornucopia of deliciousness will be brought to you by Gourmet Galley — the catering team behind the Museum’s award-winning Café Flo! Gluten-free and vegetarian options will be readily available.
