with the Old Lyme Town Band, featuring music from the American songbook

Enjoy an afternoon of uplifting music celebrating community, creativity, and country. In honor of America’s 250th independence celebration, the concert features a vibrant selection of music from the great American songbook and patriotic masterworks including:

  • Patriotic Tributes & Marches: Stirring renditions of The Star-Spangled Banner, Armed Forces: The Pride of America, and The Fourth of July to honor our nation’s history
  • American Heritage & Folk: Reflective and rich traditional melodies, featuring Copland’s Grover’s Corners, Shaker Variants, and Homeward Bound
  • Stage & Screen Favorites: Beloved classics from Broadway and cinema, including music from The Wizard of Oz, Them Basses, 76 Trombones, and Pure Imagination

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy some outdoor music on a summer’s day. The Old Lyme Town Band has members from across the state of Connecticut playing brass, woodwinds, and percussion.

The Museum is also open regular hours, 10am to 5pm.
