Enjoy an afternoon of uplifting music celebrating community, creativity, and country. In honor of America’s 250th independence celebration, the concert features a vibrant selection of music from the great American songbook and patriotic masterworks including:
- Patriotic Tributes & Marches: Stirring renditions of The Star-Spangled Banner, Armed Forces: The Pride of America, and The Fourth of July to honor our nation’s history
- American Heritage & Folk: Reflective and rich traditional melodies, featuring Copland’s Grover’s Corners, Shaker Variants, and Homeward Bound
- Stage & Screen Favorites: Beloved classics from Broadway and cinema, including music from The Wizard of Oz, Them Basses, 76 Trombones, and Pure Imagination
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy some outdoor music on a summer’s day. The Old Lyme Town Band has members from across the state of Connecticut playing brass, woodwinds, and percussion.
The Museum is also open regular hours, 10am to 5pm.
